Heather Verbeck - Executive Director

Heather Verbeck serves as Executive Director of the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center, where she leads strategic planning, programming, and community engagement initiatives that position the Center as a vibrant hub for arts and culture in Northern Cincinnati. With over two decades of experience spanning the arts, finance, and education sectors, Heather brings a thoughtful, process-driven approach to leadership.
In addition to her leadership at SCAC, Heather is a longtime member of Cincinnati’s artistic community, recognized as an accomplished flutist performing with several of the region’s leading ensembles and teaching at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. Heather holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Flute Performance from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music and is currently completing her MBA at the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business.

Matthew Taylor - Technical Director & House Manager

As an Actor, Writer, and Director, Matthew has been performing, directing, and teaching all over the country. Matthew’s Theater credits include 10 years on the Professional staff at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, plus work as an actor and teacher/coach at over 20 other LORT C and B theaters, including Actors Theatre of Louisville, The St Louis Repertory Theatre, Arena Stage in Washington D.C., and Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Taylor has portrayed characters for major amusement parks and spent 10 years as McDonalds corporate icon. Matthew currently works as a professional magician and Master of Ceremonies throughout the Midwest and is proud to be a staff member at SCAC.

Charlotte Perez - Event Manager

Charlotte Perez serves as the Event Manager for Sharonville Cultural Arts Center and also gives support in the theatre, art gallery, and in teaching classes. They have worked across the country with Cedar Summerstock Theatre and Florida Studio Theatre as a stage manager, technician, and more. Charlotte is originally from Bowling Green, OH and graduated from Miami University with a B.A. in Theatre and a certificate in Fostering Just Communities. They're excited to inspire and mentor the next generation of performers and artists here at SCAC!

Kaitlin Connelly - Business Manager

Kaitlin Connelly has been associated with SCAC since 2019 when her children started performing and has served as an assistant director and director to a variety of shows of all ages, most recently being the Assistant and Music Director of PAI’s CenterStage Young
Frankenstein. In April of 2025, Kait stepped into the role of Interim Executive Director
and in September of 2025 transitioned to the Business Manager of SCAC. Kait has a
Master of Arts in Education and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She has been
employed as a graphic designer, a technology manager, a teacher, an IT consultant, a
school scheduler, and a director. Kait now uses all her experience in her current role of
continuing to grow SCAC.
