New to Volunteering?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center!

The Sharonville Cultural Arts Center is a local non-profit that serves the greater area around Sharonville through theatre performances with our partner company, Performing Arts Inc (PAI), through the Westheimer Art Gallery, and through events, classes, and other programming.

Whether you’re coming for one show or helping out regularly, we’d love to have you! Here are some of the regular offerings we have:

  • Checking in audience members for a show
  • Popping popcorn in the box office
  • Helping with building operations and projects (Gallery, Outdoor work, Organization Projects, etc.)

If you’re interested in working with us, but haven’t volunteered at SCAC before, please fill out the volunteer form below, and we will contact you with more information.

CALLING ALL SOUND OPERATORS

SCAC Needs YOU! SCAC is regularly looking for sound operators to work our shows with PAI.

Every show at SCAC has 1-2 Dress rehearsals with a sound operator and 1-3 performances, depending on the type of show.

Whether you are a seasoned operator or just a beginner, SCAC has a place for you. Please click the image to the right to state you interest and we will reach out to you!

Box Office and Front of House Volunteer Dress Guidelines

Box office and front of house volunteers help create a safe, welcoming, and professional experience for all patrons. These guidelines support safety, cleanliness, and comfort while working in a public-facing role.

  • Putting your best foot forward includes wearing casual professional attire (nice-looking jeans are acceptable) that is clean and neat in appearance, and allows for comfortable movement.

  • Closed-toe shoes are required for safety. Sandals, flip-flops, and open-toe shoes are not permitted.

  • Hair should be secured or pulled back when working near popcorn or food areas.

  • Accessories and jewelry should not interfere with duties or safety.

  • Clothing should be free of offensive language or imagery.
