Prize Pool and Winners
● Fifty percent (50%) of tournament buy-in revenue will be allocated to the tournament prize pool. The remaining 50% will benefit the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center.
● All rebuy revenue will benefit SCAC and will not be included in the prize pool.
● The final prize pool will be determined by the number of paid tournament entries.
● The final eight players remaining in the tournament will advance to the final table, which will be played on the SCAC theater stage.
● The final four players remaining in the tournament will be considered prize winners.
The total prize pool will be distributed as follows:
1st Place: 50% of the prize pool
2nd Place: 25% of the prize pool
3rd Place: 15% of the prize pool
4th Place: 10% of the prize pool
Rebuys
● Each player may purchase one rebuy for $30 during the first 60 minutes of tournament play. All rebuy proceeds benefit the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center.
● A rebuy provides $2,500 additional tournament chips.
● A player can only purchase at rebuy between hands thus a player cannot rebuy to save a hand.
● A player who is eliminated during the first 60 minutes may buy back in if they do so immediately following their bust.
● Players may also rebuy during the first 60 minutes while still holding chips.
● No rebuys will be permitted after the first 60 minutes of tournament play.
● There will be no additional add-ons.

How old do I have to be to participate?
Participants must be 21+
Government-issued photo identification may be requested at check-in.
Can I bring a guest or come just to watch?
No. This is a players-only event. Guests and spectators will not be admitted.
How much does it cost?
The tournament buy-in is $50 and includes $5,000 tournament chips. Players who preregister by October 20 will also receive one complimentary drink ticket.
Can I register at the door?
Yes, walk-in registration is permitted on October 23 if space remains available.
Are rebuys available?
Yes. Each player may purchase one $30 rebuy during the first 60 minutes of tournament play. The rebuy provides $2,500 tournament chips. Rebuy proceeds benefit SCAC and are not included in the tournament prize pool.

Are add-ons available?
No. There will be no add-ons.
What is the payout?
Fifty percent of tournament buy-in revenue will fund the tournament prize pool. The other 50% will benefit the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center. How will tables work?
Players will be assigned to tables at the beginning of the tournament by draw. As players are eliminated, tables will be rebalanced and consolidated as necessary. Number of starting players per table will be between 6 and 10 players. Seating will be randomly assigned by a draw.
Is side betting allowed?
No side betting, cash betting, or private wagering between players is prohibited. All tournament betting must be conducted using the tournament chips provided for the event.
Can players transfer chips?
No. Tournament chips may not be purchased, sold, transferred, exchanged, or given to another player.
How long will the tournament last?
Approximately 4 hours, based on the number of registered players.
Will food and beverages be available?
Yes. Concessions, including food and beverages, will be available for purchase throughout the event. Players who preregister by October 20 will receive one complimentary drink ticket. The Complimentary Drink ticket includes one beer, soft drink or bottle of water. Beer, soda and water available for purchase.
Are cell phones permitted?
Phones and electronic devices may not be used while a player is participating in an active hand and sitting at their table of play. There will be a designated area for phone use outside the area of play.
What happens if I arrive late?
You must be present for the first hand. Cards fly at 7:30 and no refunds will be issued.
What happens if I register but cannot attend?
Registration fees are non-refundable. If a registered player is unable to participate, they may designate another individual to take their place in the tournament.
Once tournament play begins, the player occupying the registered seat must play for the duration of their participation in the tournament. Players may not substitute, switch, or transfer their seat
to another person after tournament play has begun.
What rules will govern tournament play?
Standard Texas Hold’em tournament rules will apply.
The Tournament Director will oversee tournament play, including table assignments, blind structure, table balancing, disputes, and interpretation of tournament rules. The Tournament Director’s decisions regarding tournament play will be final. The blind structure and detailed rules of play will be provided to participants at the tournament.
Card Dealing
Tables will self-deal. If it is your turn to deal, please stand to help eliminate the possibility of flipped cards.
Accidentally Exposed Cards During the Deal
If a card is accidentally dealt face-up or otherwise exposed during the initial deal, the exposed card will remain visible to all players and will not become part of the receiving player’s hand. The deal will continue normally to the remaining players. After all other players have received their proper number of cards, the player whose card was exposed will receive a replacement card from the top of the deck. The exposed card will then become the first burn card. If more than one card is accidentally exposed during the initial deal, the hand will be declared a misdeal. All cards will be collected, reshuffled, and the hand will be dealt again. A player may not intentionally expose a card or request a new card because another player may have seen it.
If there is any question about whether a card was exposed or whether a hand should be declared a misdeal, play should stop and the Tournament Director should be called to the table. The Tournament Director’s decision is final.
What conduct is expected?
Players are expected to treat other players, volunteers, staff, and event participants respectfully. Cheating, collusion, chip dumping, intentionally transferring chips, side betting, abusive behavior, or other conduct that interferes with fair tournament play is prohibited. SCAC and the Tournament Director reserve the right to remove a participant for violation of tournament rules or inappropriate conduct.
Who benefits from the tournament?
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Sharonville Cultural Arts Center and support SCAC’s arts and community programming.
Additional Tournament Rules
● Players must follow the instructions of the Tournament Director and event staff.
● Tournament chips have no cash value.
● No side betting or private wagering is permitted.
● Players may not purchase, sell, give, or transfer tournament chips to another player.
● SCAC reserves the right to adjust table assignments and consolidate tables as players are eliminated.
● The Tournament Director has final authority regarding game play, blind structure, table assignments, disputes, and interpretation of tournament rules.
● Participation in the tournament constitutes acceptance of these rules.
